Job Brief:

We are seeking a skilled Software Deployment and Support specialist to join our client in the Real Estate Sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, with expertise in computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role requires problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving our ICT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

– Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of our ICT infrastructure.
– Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution and minimal downtime.
– Implement and maintain security measures to protect our ICT systems and data.
– Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
– Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
– Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.
– Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure ICT equipment and services.
– Develop and maintain documentation of ICT systems and procedures.
– Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
– Plan and implement ICT projects, upgrades, and migrations.
– Conduct periodic audits and assessments of our ICT environment.
– Train and mentor staff on ICT best practices and security protocols.
– Monitor and enforce compliance with ICT policies and regulatory requirements.
– Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support.

Requirements and Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
– Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are an added advantage.
– Proven experience in ICT support and administration.
– Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
– Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software components.
– Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms is a plus.
– Knowledge of cybersecurity threats and countermeasures.
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
